Detroit School Board Virtual Candidate Forum, 2022 

Most candidates were concerned with absenteeism, literacy, parent engagement and state funding. Many newcomers criticized the current Board of Education and Nikolai Vitti, superintendent of the Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD), while incumbents were less critical.
